Bilingual Therapist

Bio in English... You are more than your symptoms, diagnosis, or the story of what happened to you. I believe therapy is an opportunity to understand what has shaped you, reconnect with parts of yourself that may have been lost or silenced, and discover the source of your authentic power. As a bilingual, Spanish-speaking therapist with a background in social work, social justice, and work with immigrant communities, I create a space where your culture, identity, relationships, and lived experiences are central to the healing process. I work with people of all ages, gender identities, sexual orientations and cultural backgrounds. My approach is trauma-informed, culturally responsive, and grounded in anti-oppressive and decolonizing frameworks. I believe healing extends beyond a “neck-up” approach. Trauma lives not only in our thoughts and emotions, but also in our bodies, nervous systems, relationships, and sense of safety and belonging. I bring a sense of forensic curiosity to therapy. I want to understand not only what is happening within you, but what has happened around you and how those experiences have shaped who you have become. Together, we can ask the questions that cut to the core: What happened? What did you learn from it? What are you still carrying? What parts of your story are truly yours? Catharsis can be part of that process creating space to name, feel, and release what has been held inside. From there, we can move toward practical ways of mending the wounds of the psyche, building self-compassion, agency, and new possibilities. I don't see therapy as telling you who to be or asking you to adapt to systems that may have contributed to your pain. I see it as a collaborative process of understanding, questioning, healing, and reclaiming. If you are ready for radical honesty, deeper self-examination, and meaningful change, I will meet you where you are, honor where you have been, and support you in moving toward a life that feels more authentic, connected, and meaningful. I offer therapy in both English and Spanish. Availability Tuesday-Friday afternoon/evenings Saturday morning/afternoon
